Interior and Exterior Painting for Thornlands’ New Estates and Established Homes
Thornlands is one of the fastest growing suburbs in the Redlands, and if you’ve driven through recently, you’ve seen it firsthand. More new estates are opening up off Kinross Road and streets that were open land a few years ago now have dozens of homes.
The suburb’s population is growing with young families who are making their first or second home here.
But Thornlands isn’t all new, there are still older pockets and rural properties that sit alongside the new development, giving the suburb a character that’s still finding its shape.
Established and Rural Properties
The older parts of Thornlands and its remaining rural pockets have a very different painting requirements.
Weathered timber, older brick, and rural outbuildings need more preparation and the right product choices for the level of exposure they get.
Whether you’ve just moved in or you’ve been here for years, we’d love to help with your painting project. Get in touch for a free, no-obligation quote, call 0434 575 623 or send us an enquiry online.

Painting Homes For Thornlands’ Growing Community
For a painting business, Thornlands represents both ends of the spectrum. New estate homes need painters who understand modern substrates and deliver the clean, precise finish that suits contemporary builds. Older properties in the more established parts of the suburb often need more involved preparation, surface repairs, timber treatment, and the kind of prep work that takes time but makes the difference in how long the finish lasts. We’re comfortable at both ends and we don’t treat every job the same way just because it’s easier.
Thornlands today looks very different to Thornlands five years ago, and it’ll keep evolving. We’ve been painting across the Redlands through that growth and we’ve built a reputation in the area on the back of reliable work, honest pricing, and a team that shows up and does what they say they’ll do.
If you’re settling into a new home in Thornlands or maintaining an established property in the older parts of the suburb, we’d love to be your painters.
